When my old friend Dave Coop asked if I’d be a groomsman at his Texas ranch wedding I took the opportunity to make a late 2014 photographic project out of it. Combining Dallas duties with a subsequent short trip to take in New York for the first time, the resulting images and experiences were combined into a 72 page magazine format travelogue.  As with any personal project, the aim is to add new skills or bolster existing ones.  This process provided further experience of shooting photos specifically with magazine layouts in mind and many lessons were learned in typography and effective writing.
