The Path Ahead

It’s been a funny year so far. The threat of redundancy has loomed, bringing with it the usual assortment of worry and uncertainty, plus I’d crazily chosen this unsettled time to look at alternatives to my beloved Pentax gear. It has been a frustrating time, with answers in short supply.

Now into the third month of 2012 the path is becoming clear and I’m able to start making plans for the rest of the year. Exactly how much photography that’ll involve remains to be seen!

Veyron

There it was, the holy grail of automotive excess, the poster on a million schoolboy walls, the mind-numbingly powerful and expensive Bugatti Veyron.  A chance encounter, I didn’t have long to work with it and of course the location and lighting could have been better, but I’m pleased I had the presence of mind to not revert to a gibbering, awe-inspired schoolboy and instead grab something more than just a snapshot.

I did however feel quite sick when, just after taking this, an actual schoolboy ran past clattering his coat zip right along the side of it!
