MGC-GT

Not your typical MG coupe, the MGC differs from it’s weedy, asthmatic MGB brethren by virtue of a throaty straight-six motor hewn from a solid chunk of testosterone. This example was owned, restored and tuned by local ex-racer Harry Ratcliffe before falling into the hands of VictoriaSportscars, for whom this photo was taken.
Shot with the manual focus Samyang 85/1.4 on a tripod with live view magnification used to confirm focus accuracy. I tend to find working with a tripod a slow, clumsy and restrictive process so use it only when necessary – a big, bright full-frame DSLR viewfinder would be nice to use with this lens, but as Pentax don’t yet make one (and a system change would have to involve a lottery win) the tripod will have to do.
