Thanksgiving Chapel

There are many things in this world more beautiful on the inside than the outside. Actually, if I’m honest some solid examples elude me right now but it sounded good, right? The one example I present here is Thanksgiving Chapel in Dallas, a 58 foot high white marble construction that resembles a discarded roll of linoleum on the outside but harbours great beauty within.

The ‘Glory Window’ is a 67 pane helical stained glass assembly embedded in the spiral roof of the structure and responsible for many a crick in the neck of visitors.  My tip?  Follow your inner voice, succumb to all temptation and just lie on the floor for a better look.  You won’t be the first and you most certainly won’t be the last.
