The angular textured concrete form of the £35 million Hepworth Gallery, hunkered on the bank of the River Calder in Wakefield. The gallery provides a legacy for famed artist Barbara Hepworth, who was born in the town, as well as a range of temporary exhibitions.

I have been here exactly twice, this was from the first visit and the second saw even less favourable weather. One day I’ll photograph this striking building in less gloomy conditions.
